Description
FUN FACTS: The Koala is a tree dwelling, plant eating marsupial (with a pouch for raising their young) native to Australia. Its closest living relatives are the wombats. The Koala’s paws are specially adapted for gripping and climbing. Very correctly, on the CollectA model there is no claw on the biggest digit on the hind paw, which is opposable to the others for gripping. Also, nicely carved out with this CollectA figurine and one of the easiest ways to identify the sex of a Koala is to look for the dark brown scent gland which is located in the centre of the white chests of mature, breeding males. Females and young pre-breeding males have a plain white chest.
SAFETY: All CollectA products are individually hand crafted with only the finest materials and rigorously tested to ensure they meet the highest safety standards.
